The theme of the sixth year of the Prize is: INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. THE PRIDE OF DISABILITY. HIDDEN DISABILITIES.

Many situations that impose limitations on daily life are not recognizable at first glance: diabetes, heart disease, bipolarism, depression, deafness, reduced vision or hearing are examples that make life more or less difficult, in the personal sphere and in relationships with others. But others often do not understand the problem, or realize it late, and prefer not to interact. Isolation increases, and can in turn generate additional communication difficulties.

The requirement for an audio description of the work not exceeding one minute, in Italian or English, remains this year.

The following institutions participated. Academy of Fine Arts of Florence, Foggia, Milan, Naples, Turin, Urbino. ISIA of Faenza and Rome. Edinburgh College of Art. Gray School of Art Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. York St John University.

Two first prizes, two second prizes of 300 euros each, two third prizes consisting of art books were awarded. One set of prizes for students from Italian institutions, one for students from British institutions. The first prize for English participants consists of a week of hospitality with board and lodging at the halls of residence of the University of Urbino. For Italian participants a week of hospitality is offered in York. The winners of the first prize received a contribution towards the trip. Two Special Prizes offered by Zamparelli and ATS IV of the Marche region were awarded to two works from Italian institutions. Two Special Prizes were offered by Mark Bailey and by the companies Amicucci and Maimeri to two works from British institutions.
