The book
BOOK CONCEPT
A book in memory of Eleanor was distributed at the same time as the second edition of the award. The book was born from the desire to make known to the outside world the experience lived in the great network of affection, creativity and friendship that had grown around Eleanor especially in the last five years of her life. The book was written by 35 people, who knew her in many phases of her life, in Genoa, York, Earby, Urbino, in the family, among friends, English and Italian, in elementary school, middle school, high school, in associations for disabled people, in medical and rehabilitation centers that took care of her. The book contains prose texts, poems, photographs, drawings, portraits of Eleanor; it is developed with a very particular graphic design, which allows to enhance the bilingualism of the book itself, and to use the two covers that came out joint winners in the second edition of the Award; It is enriched by color images, which include various watercolour exercises that Nunzia Invernizzi performed during the long creative and educational journey she took together with Eleanor.
