2023 DISABILITY AND TRANSFORMATION FOR AN INCLUSIVE SOCIETY
The theme draws inspiration from what was proposed in 2017 by the United Nations for the International Day of Disabilities.
Attention to disability transcends disabled people themselves, and becomes a reason for transforming society as a whole.
Disabled people, with their courage to face difficult everyday life, point the way towards a path of resilience, whereby everything becomes possible and barriers can fall, as long as the process is supported by trust in the community and adequate resources.
Disabled people themselves, with active participation in civic life, can contribute to the transformation of society.
