Una via d'uscita

Nel disegno "Una via d'uscita" viene rappresentato il rapporto tra disabilità e arte. Quest'ultima viene usata come ultimo baluardo di salvezza da persone la cui disabilità, che sia fisica o che sia mentale, impedisce loro di esprimere le proprie emozioni al mondo esterno. Quell'ombra colorata rappresenta quello che hanno dentro veramente, l'unico ponte di comunicazione con gli altri e una momentanea scappatoia da una gabbia. L'arte è la manifestazione della loro forza interiore.

A way out

The drawing "A Way Out" represents the relationship between disability and art. Art is used as a last resort by people whose disabilities, whether physical or mental, prevent them from expressing their emotions to the outside world. That colorful shadow is a manifestation of what they really have inside, the only bridge of communication with others and a temporary escape from a cage. Art is the manifestation of their inner strength.
