Read between the lines
The concept behind this piece is the experience of reading for dyslexics and entering the world of childlike fantasy. By creating a visual adventure exploring the page and looking beyond what is written on a rectangular page; This piece manipulates and transforms the rectangular shape of pages into swirls of colour layered with tracing paper. Stitched words appear to twist, stretch and hide behind the tracing paper, distorting the readability of the piece.
