Questo ritratto mostra la mia sorella minore, che ho avuto l’onore di vedere crescere e affrontare con forza e resilienza sfide legate ad autismo e ADHD. La sua empatia, creatività e tenacia, frutto della neurodivergenza, la rendono fonte d’ispirazione. È fondamentale che condizioni come autismo e ADHD non siano viste negativamente: i bambini neurodivergenti spesso eccellono e possiedono un grande potenziale di abilità.
The Wonder Within
This portrait captures my younger sister who I have had the honour of watching grow up and show more strength and resilience than anyone, despite her struggles with autism and ADHD. Her capacity for empathy, resilience and creativity due to her neurodivergent diagnosis makes her an inspiration. It is important that disabilities such as autism and ADHD are not viewed negatively; neurodivergent children actually succeed more and have a great capacity of skill.
