Il bianco che invade e avvolge il polittico conferisce all’opera una luce metafisica, primordiale che ci consente di percepire le cose nella loro autenticità, oggettività.Si tratta di una negazione alla narrazione, la realtà è svincolata da ogni soggettivismo, accompagnata da un velo di drammaticità, l’opera è pura materia.I bassorilievi simulano frammenti di terra riarsa; in un punto sorge una nuova “luce”, quella della speranza, un fiore di ginestra, appartenente alla famiglia delle leguminose, tipico del deserto; un cenno alla poesia leopardiana “La ginestra”, annunciata come sola e alienata da ciò che la circonda, estremamente forte e resistente a ogni intemperia.C’è sempre un filo di speranza nella desolazione, uno spiraglio di luce che illumina il buio. (Il fiore presente nell’opera non è un fiore di ginestra, è un fiore giallo facilmente reperibile, per richiamare il concetto base). Polittico composto da quattro bassorilievi in gesso; base di supporto in legno verniciato con acrilico bianco; cornice in legno; dimensione complessiva di 50cm x 50cm; bassorilievo di 18,5cm x 18,5cm.
BROOM
The white that invades and envelops the polyptych gives the work a metaphysical, primordial light that allows us to perceive things in their authenticity, objectivity It is a negation of the narrative, reality is free from any subjectivism, accompanied by a veil of drama, the work is pure matter. The bas-reliefs simulate fragments of parched earth; at one point a new “light” emerges, that of hope, a broom flower, belonging to the legume family, typical of the desert; a nod to Leopardi's poem “La ginestra”, announced as alone and alienated from what surrounds it, extremely strong and resistant to any weather. There is always a thread of hope in desolation, a glimmer of light that illuminates the darkness. (The flower in the work is not a broom flower, it is an easily available yellow flower, to recall the basic concept). Polyptych composed of four plaster bas-reliefs; wooden support base painted with white acrylic; wooden frame; overall size of 50cm x 50cm; bas-relief of 18.5cm x 18.5cm.
