DISABILITA’ NASCOSTE_

Ho creato questa composizione che abbraccia due aspetti: uno realistico di un momento intimo, ovvero l’iniezione dell’insulina e uno ironico in cui il soggetto alza il braccio come segno di forza verso se stessa e nei confronti della sua disabilità. La sua identità viene rappresentata senza pudore, nel suo salotto, lo sguardo fiero e le labbra serrate sembrano affermare: benvenuti questa sono io.

HIDDEN DISABILITIES

I created this composition that embraces two aspects: a realistic one of an intimate moment, or the injection of insulin and an ironic one in which the subject raises his arm as a sign of strength towards himself and towards hid disability. His identity is rapresented without shame, in his living room, the proud look and the tight lips seem to affirm: welcome this is me.
