BASTA NASCONDERSI

Attraverso la bodypainting ho voluto rappresentare sul mio corpo, in maniera visiva, la sofferenza, il sentirsi esclusi dalla società perchè considerati diversi, l’essere costretti a vivere nell’ombra perchè considerati un peso. Viviamo in una società dove l’apparire è più importante dell‘essere, ci si sofferma all’aspetto esteriore, alla corazza che spesso siamo costretti a indossare perchè ci è stata imposta e non ce ne possiamo liberare. Ognuno di noi ha dentro se una luce che ci rende diversi gli uni dagli altri, un faro che ci aiuta a trovare la forza e il coraggio di uscire allo scoperto. Ho immaginato la mia opera come un cielo stellato dove il buio non serve a nascondersi ma a mostrare quanto sia forte la propria luce.   Tecnica: stampa digitale colori su forex.Misure:  50 X 70 cm.Anno: 2016

STOP HIDING

Through body painting I wanted to represent the concept of pain on my body. I wanted to represent the feeling of being seen different from the society, how does it feel to be forced to live in the shadow, to be a burden to someone. We live in a world where to be is not more important than to have. We look at the surface, at the image that we've created to fit in. How we are not supposed to let someone look beneath to our true self. Trapped, never free. Each one of us has a light that makes us different from one another, that sometimes helps us to find strength and courage to break free. I imagined my artwork as a starred sky where the dark does not hide but, instead, shows how bright one’s own light sometimes can be.
