FUORI DELLA NORMA

Sono fuori della norma, prendo rischi, ho opinioni, sono diversa.Questa scultura è un auto ritratto. È la parte del mio corpo che mi ha dato forma come essere umano. Non la nascondo, la abbraccio, è parte di me ma non mi definisce. Il concetto è semplice; è una celebrazione del corpo umano e del suo valore. Questo lavoro è luminoso e diretto, mai dovrebbe essere oggetto di commiserazione. Il contrasto di colore, scuro contro luminoso, riflette aspetti della mia personalità. È un’affermazione diretta, una riflessione onesta sul sé.

OUT ON A LIMB

I’m out on a limb, I take risks, I have opinions, I’m different. This sculptural piece is a self portrait. It is the part of my body that has shaped me as a human being. I don’t hide it, I embrace it, it is part of me but it doesn’t define me. The concept is simple; it is a celebration of the human body and its worth. The piece is bright and bold and should never be pitied. The contrast of colour, soft against bright, reflect aspects of my personality. It is a bold statement, an honest reflection of self.
