3 DICEMBRE. GIORNATA INTERNAZIONALE DELLE PERSONE CON DISABiLITA'

Nel primo piano della fotografia sono presenti più chiodi nuovi, lucidi e dritti, che rappresentano persone non affette da disabilità. Essi sono illuminati da una luce calda rispetto al chiodo in secondo piano, piegato e arrugginito, che rappresenta la persona disabile. Emarginato ma allo stesso tempo è al centro dell’attenzione grazie alla luce fredda e al tono bianco e nero che rappresenta la tristezza causata dall’essere stato escluso.

In the foreground of the photograph several nails are shown, new, shiny, straight, which represent able bodied people. They are lit by a warm light compared to the nail in the background, bent and rusted, which represents a disabled person. Outcasted but at the same time at the center of attention thanks to the cold light, and to the black and white tone which represents the sadness caused by exclusion.
