OLTRE LA MASSA SCURA: identità e autostima nella disabilità

La figura al centro, dai tratti malinconici, è avvolta da una massa scura e da un nastro rosso che limita i movimenti. Questi elementi rappresentano il peso sociale e le barriere legate alla disabilità. I vestiti colorati, però, mostrano la vitalità della persona, che va oltre i limiti. L’autostima nasce dal riconoscere le difficoltà senza lasciare che definiscano tutta l’identità pienamente.

BEYOND THE DARK MASS: identity and self-esteem in disability

The figure in the center, with melancholic features, is wrapped in a dark mass and a red ribbon that restricts movement. These elements represent the social burden and barriers associated with disability. The colorful clothing, however, demonstrates the vitality of the person, which transcends limitations. Self-esteem comes from acknowledging difficulties without letting them fully define one’s entire identity.
