Disabilità e autostima

Nel mio disegno ho rappresentato la disabilità e l’autostima con una palla da pallacanestro in campo. La palla simboleggia una persona con disabilità, mentre gli scontri e gli ostacoli rappresentano le difficoltà e i pregiudizi che può incontrare nella vita. Quando la palla rimbalza dopo essere caduta, dimostra che non si arrende: questo rimbalzo è l’autostima, cioè la forza di rialzarsi e andare avanti.

Disability and self-esteem

In my drawing, I represented disability and self-esteem with a basketball on the court. The ball symbolizes a person with a disability, while the struggles and obstacles represent the difficulties and prejudices they may encounter in life. When the ball bounces after falling, it show that you don’t give up: this bounce represents self esteem, that is the strenght to get up and keep going.
