Il filo che ti lega

Per il bando "Disabilità e autostima" ho reinterpretato “Girl with Balloon”, raffigurando una bambina seduta su una carrozzina con entrambe le braccia amputate. Il filo è legato al braccio sollevato: il limite diventa un punto di forza. Il palloncino si trasforma in colombe in volo, simbolo di pace interiore, accettazione di sé e riconoscimento del proprio valore.

The thread that binds you

For the "Disability and Self-Esteem" I reinterpreted “Girl with Balloon”, depicting a little girl sitting in a wheelchair with both arms amputated. The string is tied to her raised arm: her limitations become strength. The balloons transform into doves in flight, a symbol of inner peace, self-acceptance, and recognition of one's worth.
