Introspezione

Ho deciso di sviluppare il mio progetto incentrandomi sullo spettro dell’autismo. Attraverso chiazze e macchie di colore che “sporcano” la figura maschile al centro della composizione, definita da una linea bianca su un fondo blu scuro, che sta a simboleggiare il confine ideale tra interiorità ed il mondo esterno, ho voluto rappresentare l’inadeguatezza e il senso di vuoto, il senso di non appartenenza o di dolore, che una persona affetta da questo disturbo può provare.

Introspections

I decided to develop my project focusing on the autism spectrum. Through patches and stains of color that "dirty" the male figure at the center of the composition, defined by a white line on a dark blue background, which symbolizes the ideal border between interiority and the external world, I wanted to represent the inadequacy and the sense of emptiness, the sense of not belonging or pain that a person suffering from this disorder can feel.
