Maniscalco Exhibition 2024

This year's theme is inspired by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, signed by Italy in 2009, Art. 1. regarding the autonomy of people with disabilities.

180 works were presented for the secondary level from the Scuola del Libro of Urbino, from Mengaroni of Pesaro, from Nolfi Apolloni of Fano and from Polo3 Seneca of Fano, from Mannucci of Fabriano, from Misticoni Bellisario of Pescara, from De Nobili of Catanzaro, from Volta Fellini of Riccione, from Chiabrera-Martini of Savona, from Lanza Perugini of Foggia, from Giovagnoli of San Sepolcro, from Vittoria of Trento, from Metalli of Terni and from the BBG Academy of Birkenshaw.

The university-level exhibition features works from the Academies of Fine Arts of Urbino, Macerata, Rome, Naples, Bari, and Reggio Calabria, the Advanced Training Course in Urbino, the ISIA in Rome, York St. John University, the University of York, Leeds Arts University, the College of Art & Design University of Dundee, and the National College of Art and Design in Dublin.

Some works are printed on 50x70 cm hardboards, while others are displayed on screens in the room. Some of the videos featured were presented in June at the 60th Pesaro International Film Festival.

This year, the non-profit organization Piattaforma Solidale is participating in the Art and Disability exhibition with works competing in the "A Solidarity and Inclusive World Against All Forms of Violence" art competition, promoted by the Association in the art high schools of the Marche region.
