Attraverso immagini al rallentatore, quest'opera esplora in modo colorato il tema della mancata diagnosi e della resilienza che si sviluppa quando si è consapevoli di avere una disabilità nascosta senza comprenderne appieno la natura. Questa esperienza confusa è rappresentata dal nuoto in un mare nostalgico di palloncini che simboleggiano le complessità indomabili della mente e l'incertezza ciclica, alla ricerca di una conclusione, tra cui la foschia non riflettente e appiccicosa della vaselina.

Through The Thick of It

Through slow-motion visuals, this work colourfully explores the theme of being undiagnosed and the resilience that is built from knowing you have a hidden disability without fully understanding what it is. This confusing experience is shown by swimming through a nostalgic sea of balloons representing the untameable complexities of the mind and cyclical uncertainty while seeking closure including the non-reflective and sticky haze of petroleum jelly.
