Questo pezzo riguarda la mia esperienza ravvicinata con la BPCO (Broncopneumopatia cronica ostruttiva) e il fatto di avere familiari che ne soffrono. Sebbene sia più comunemente associata al fumo, è anche una malattia genetica e non molte persone sono consapevoli di poterla avere. Il mio lavoro rappresenta il movimento della costrizione dei polmoni e ricorda anche un vecchio ventilatore a soffietto perché il pezzo è una fisarmonica.

Breathe

This piece entails my close experience with COPD (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and having family members that suffer with it. While its most commonly associated with smoking, it is also a genetic disease and not many people are aware they may have it. My work represents the movement of constricting lungs and also resembles an old bellows ventilator through the piece beings a concertina.
