Il mio lavoro riguarda l'esperienza di mio padre con la neuropatia periferica. Ho utilizzato resina epossidica delle mani e dei piedi di mio padre, inserendo delle lame affilate per riflettere i dolori acuti e lancinanti che prova, mostrando fisicamente il suo dolore. Nella mano e nel piede ho usato colorante alimentare rosso per rappresentare il dolore. Ho creato due stampi della mia mano usando jesmonite in uno stato di movimento, e ho realizzato un dipinto a olio della mia mano che tiene del
Peripheral neuropathy
My work is about my dad’s experience having Peripheral neuropathy. I used epoxy resin of my dad's hand and foot, I inserted razor blades to reflect the sharp stabbing pains, physically showing the pains which he feels. In the hand and foot I used red food colouring to show the pain, I did two moulds of my hand using jesmonite in a state of motion, an oil painting of my hand holding ice which is a metaphor for the numbness and icy burning sensation which the Peripheral neuropathy has caused.
