CORTO CIRCUITO

Corto circuito” fu creato pensando alla mia esperienza personale di Epilessia. Da bambina mi era difficile capire questa condizione, e il mio medico paragonò il cervello a un circuito, e quando si creava un corto circuito si aveva una crisi. Questo immaginario ha ispirato questa fotografia. I fili elettrici che coprono il davanti dell’immagine rappresentano i neuroni nelle reti neurali, che sono in costante movimento.

SHORT CIRCUIT

'Short Circuit’ was created with my experience of Epilepsy in mind. As a child the condition was hard to comprehend and my doctor compared the brain to a circuit board and when it short circuited, it created a seizure to occur. This imagery inspired this photograph. The electrical wires that cover the foreground of the image represent the neuro-circuitry that are in a constant state of movement.
