STRAORDINARIA NORMALITA’

Quando la persona può esprimersi e conoscere se stessa, stare insieme agli altri, sentirsi dono per qualcuno, al di la dei propri limiti, fa quell’esperienza che chiamiamo “Vita”. Gli scatti proposti, raccontano frammenti di questa importante esperienza: Ascolto, Cura, Passione e Impegno.   Ci sono luoghi in cui tutto questo si vive con semplicità, grazie alla presenza di persone “speciali” che sanno rendere straordinaria la loro quotidianità. Uno di questi è la “Bottega della Loggetta” nata a Faenza nel 2013. La Bottega è un “negozio-laboratorio”, un ambiente formativo per l’acquisizione e il mantenimento di competenze e per il rinforzo abilitativo dei “commessi”: dieci giovani adulti disabili del territorio che la frequentano. Chi osserva questi scatti incontra “maestri di vita”: i “commessi” ci richiamano ad una quotidianità che nella sua semplicità diventa straordinaria. Mia sorella è una di queste persone “speciali”. Camminare insieme a lei superando i tanti ostacoli della vita ma anche gioendo per ogni “piccolo grande” traguardo raggiunto, è ancora oggi una grande opportunità di crescita per me e per tutta la mia famiglia.

EXTRAORDINARY NORMALITY

When the person can express himself and know himself, being with others, feeling himself a gift for someone, beyond his own limits, he makes that experience which we call “Life". The proposed photos, tell fragments of this important experience: Listening, Care, Passion and Commitment. There are places where all this is lived with simplicity, thanks to the presence of "special" people who know how to make their everyday life extraordinary. One of these is the "Bottega della Loggetta" founded in Faenza in 2013. La Bottega is a "shop-laboratory", a training environment for the acquisition and maintenance of skills and the reinforcement of the “shop assistant": ten young people disabled adults of the territory who attend it. Who observes these photos meets "masters of life": the “shop assitant" call us back to a daily life that in its simplicity becomes extraordinary. My sister is one of these "special" people. Walking together with her, overcoming the many obstacles of life but also rejoicing for every "small big" goal achieved, is still today a great opportunity for growth for me and my whole family.
