This wooden sculpture covered in resin and wax is smooth, but porous at the same time. It represents a c. 40 foetus, till with undeveloped hands. Wires come out of its navel as a cobweb, and together with the metal ribs of an old barrel they surround the foetus like a placenta.
The foetus bakes the cage, source of food but also of restraint; like us, trying to push beyond the limits.
