MITILE

“MITILE” è basato sulla metafora che intercorre fra l’essere umano e il mitile, essere marino appartenente alla famiglia dei molluschi. Come il mitile è circondato dalla sua conchiglia, e rimane attaccato al suo scoglio, anche noi uomini siamo circondati dal nostro perimetro, nonché il nostro corpo, che ci protegge ma al contempo ci limita.È di fatto LIMITE la parola fondamentale del progetto, anagramma di MITILE.  Tecnica calcografica mista

MUSSEL

“MUSSEL” works through the metaphor between human beings and mussels, sea animals belonging to mollusk’s family. As a mussel is surrounded by its own shell that sticks it on the rock, so human beings as well are surrounded by their own perimeter and body, that protects them but in the meantime limits them. Infact LIMITE (LIMIT) is the main word of the project, which in Italian is the anagram of MITILE (MUSSEL).
