OMAGGIO A HENRI

La mia opera è un omaggio a Toulouse-Lautrec, l’artista che ha saputo trarre vantaggio dai suoi problemi genetici, sviluppando una sensibilità che lo ha portato ad essere uno dei più famosi artisti dell’800. L’opera è nata per permettere anche a chi non vede di godere della catarsi che solo l’arte sa offrire. Con frasi descrittive, scritte in alfabeto Braille, ho cerca di aiutare i non vedenti a immaginare ciò che il quadro rappresenta

My work is an homage to Toulouse-Lautrec, the artist who has been able to take advantage of his genetical problems, developing a sensitivity which has brought him to be one of the most famous artists of the nineteenth century. The work has been conceived to allow even those who cannot see to enjoy the catharsis which only art can offer. With descriptive sentences, written in the Braille alphabet, I have tried to help those who cannot see to imagine what the painting represents.
