GIORNATA INTERNAZIONALE delle PERSONE con DISABILITA'

Ci sono limiti che non si possono togliere. Sono limiti fisici, mentali. Esistono.Ci sono barriere che possono essere oltrepassate: l'espressività va oltre la disabilità. Il limite non è solo del disabile; la gabbia che lo rappresenta è anche il limite del non disabile. Le farfalle che volano attraverso la gabbia rappresentano l'abilità di esprimersi e passare oltre.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

There are limits which cannot be removed. They are physical, mental. They exist. There are barriers which can be overcome: the capacity for self expression goes beyond disability. The limit is not only within the disabled person; the cage representing it is also the limit of the able bodied person. The butterflies flying through the cage represent the ability to express oneself, and to move on.
