Riemergere
Il cortometraggio “Riemergere” racconta il percorso di un ragazzo tetraplegico che perde fiducia in sé stesso. Attraverso gli scacchi riscopre la forza della mente. Elementi simbolici come il palombaro e il pesce nella bolla rappresentano la sua sensazione di isolamento, fino al momento in cui riesce a riemergere, grazie alla logica, e a ritrovare la propria identità e autostima. Per la realizzazione del nostro cortometraggio ci siamo ispirati all’opera “Lo scafandro e la farfalla".
Reemerging
The short film “Reemerging” tells the story of a tetraplegic young man who loses confidence in himself. Through chess, he rediscovers the strength of the mind. Symbolic elements such as the diver and the fish in a bubble represent his feeling of isolation and displacement, until the moment when he manages to reemerge and regain his identity and self-esteem. For the creation of our short film, we were inspired by the movie “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly”.
