In questa prospettiva la disabilità è vista come un valore aggiunto, un qualcosa che riguarda tutti. L’abile è un individuo che per la società moderna è capace di agire in autonomia, di fare delle scelte. Si pone attenzione all’idea che ognuno ha delle caratteristiche di diversità e di eccezionalità che devono essere integrate all’interno del mondo circostante perché la macchina della società diventi uno strumento per vincere una nuova sfida,quella dell’integrazione sociale.
